Did you know that the 37th annual Neptune Frestival starts this Friday, September 24, 2010 at Virginia Beach, Virginia. The 2010 Neptune Festival Boardwalk weekend most featured event is the Sandsculpting Competition right in the fifth to tenth Streets of Virginia Beach Oceanfront. The Boardwalk weekend covers three days and nights (Sept. 24 to 26, 2010). There will be concerts daily in tented festival stages scattered along 32 blocks of Virginia Beach Boardwalk. On the 25th, there will be a fun run in 8 km, 5 km, and 1m dash. This will start and finish at 24th St. Park. There will also be a Grand Parade from 16th to 32nd Street on the 25th.
