Shawn Michaels Wrestling Career Dies













Wrestlemania 26 result shows Shawn Michaels was defeated by "The Undertaker", in Phoenix University, Glendale, Arizona.  Many are asking, is this the end of Shawn Michaels? Is it just in the storyline? The Wrestlemania 26 is his last match as he announced his retirement from the world of wrestling.  Now at age 44, Michaels confirmed it is not just a part of the storyline.  He is saying goodbye  to his career and will just dedicate his time to his family. Before he left he expressed his gratitude to everyone and said "Daddy is coming home".  Officially, Michaels retires on March 29, 2010.  Now, the fans are saying goodbye to 3 times WWF Champion, 5 WWE World Tag Team Champion and no doubt one of the greatest WWE Superstars of all time.

Duke Wins Against Baylor in NCAA South Regional Championship

The Duke will now advance to the NCAA Final Four as they beat Baylor in the NCAA South Regional championship game tonight, at Reliant Stadium, Houston Texas.  The Duke vs Baylor game was shown live on CBS TV. It was a 78-71 points win against Baylor. The Blue Devils (33-5) had 22 offensive rebounds, leading to 23 second-chance points, to reach their first Final Four since 2004.  Now, you could be sure you will see the Dukes in the NCAA 2010 Final Four . Another game who played this Sunday is the Michigan vs Tennessee Michigan beats Tennessee in the NCAA Midwest Regional Championship in a 70-69 score at Edward St. Jones dome.

Meanwhile, last Saturday, March 27, 2010, To teams beat against each other for the chance to reach the NCAA 2010 Final Four. The Butler beats Kansas St. in a 63-56 score in the NCAA West Regional Championship game at Energy Solutions Arena, Salt Lake City, Utah.  West Virginia beats Kentucky in a 73-66 score at the Carrier dome Syracuse, NY.

Georges St. Pierre Wins Against Hardy and Retains Welterweight Title

Georges St. Pierre still retains title after winning against Dan Hardy in a 25 minutes of powerful mimed martial arts fight.  St. Pierre won via unanimous decision. Pierre finishes the fight  on the fiith round.  St. Pierre retains his title with scores of 50-45, 50-44 and 50-43. With this, Pierre along with other UFC 111 winners Jared Hamman, Rodney Wallace, Kurt Pellegrin, and Shane Carwin gets a bonus from UFC President, Dana White.  Meanwhile, Carwin wins against Mir in round 1 at exactly 3.48 minutes.  Find out more about the UFC 111 results and UFC 111 winners.

Nate Burton Seahawks Wide Receiver Signs Up With Detriot Lions














Nate Burleson, Seahawks wide receiver agreed to to a five-year contract with Detriot Lions. His contract with voided this year with Seahawks after playing past for seasons with the team.  Burleson was Seahawks franchise record holder for punt return yards in play off game. Upon signing a contract with Detroit Lions, Burleson will be reunited with offensive coordinator Scott Linehan, person who boosts his career in his days with Minnesota Vikings. Burleson, now 28, averaged 12.9 yards per reception in 2009, highest in Seattle.  He caught 15 touchdown passes in his four seasons as a Seahawk.

Tom "T-Bone" Wolk Dies in Heart Attack









Tom "T-Bone" Wolk, bassist of Hall & Oates band died in Pawling N. Y . from a heart attack.  Tom Wolk, now age 58, was working for a new recording solo album with Darry Hall and also preparing to appear Monday with Hall & Oates when he died, according to Associated Press. Tom was a member of famous band Hall & Oates since 1981.  In 1986 up to 1992, he also joined the "Saturday Night Live" house band.

Wolks was born in New York and studied in an art school before he became a musician.  He performed with several musicians including Billy Vera, Lonnie Mack Carly SImon, Billy Joel, Avril Lavigne.
