NCIS episode 21, "Obsession", focused on Tony DiNozzo's obsession in finding the sister of a murdered Lt. Craig Hutton while his team searches for the man's killer. . Throughout the investigation Tony becoming increasingly more captivated with ZNN reporter Dana Hutton even though they've never met. The reason behind Craig's mysterious death is the plot of the story.
In the next episode entitled "Borderland", the NCIS is challenged to find a serial killer which leads their investigation to a shocking revelation. As the investigation goes, Special Agent Tim McGee, together with Forensics Specialist Abby Sciuto had to go to the south of the border where Abby has to make a speech.
